Does the charging speed have anything to do with the length of the data cable?

Theoretically, the shorter the data cable, the less the loss of the cable. The longer the data cable, the greater its resistance, and the slower the charging speed. On the contrary, the shorter the data cable, the smaller its resistance, and the faster the charging speed. So today, I will personally test these data cables of different lengths!

Does the length of the data cable have a big impact on the charging of the mobile phone?

The test results are as follows:

(1). 1 m original data cable: full charge time---2 hours and 5 minutes

(2). 1.68 m lucky red data cable: full charge time---2 hours and 20 minutes

(3). 2 m zinc alloy data cable: full charge time---2 hours and 26 minutes

It seems that the length of the charging cable does have some impact on charging, but the impact does not seem to be significant. In addition to data cables of different lengths, will power strips, power banks, computer cases, and other devices that we often use to charge affect the charging speed of mobile phones? Next, we will conduct the second test;

(2). The next day, I borrowed another power bank and charged three Apple mobile phones with zero power respectively - [DELL computer interface Feat. 1 meter original data cable]; [power bank Feat. 1.5 meter lucky red data cable]; [2A power strip Feat. 2 meter zinc alloy data cable]. Today, we changed the test method and discharged all three 6 plus batteries. Let's see how much power they can get in 60 minutes?

Does the length of the data cable have a big impact on the charging of the mobile phone?

The current of the power strip is generally 2 amps, the current of the power bank is generally 1 amp, and the current of the computer USB port is lower, only 500 mA. The test results are as follows:

The test results are as follows:

(1). 1 m original data cable feat. computer interface: charged to 40%

(2). 1.68 m lucky red data cable feat. power bank: charged to 45%

(3). 2 m zinc alloy data cable feat. 2A power strip: charged to 52%

It can be seen that when charging, using a 1A or 2A charging source will have some impact on the phone, but the speed difference is not significant. On some high-end smartphones, because there is a charging current limiting chip on its motherboard, this chip will limit the output current, so it is not the case that if a 2A current is output, the phone will receive a full 2A current. Now let me explain this, do you understand?
